THE HUNGER GAMES PROJECT
This is our Hunger Games project of 4th ESO, where we have had thinked about an alternative story for the Hunger Games book. All the stuff is made by us, the idea of the story and the pictures. I've made it with Pol Miranda and Martí Soler.

THE AIRPORT PROJECT
A few months ago, we went with the school to the airport, there, we visited all the airport with some explanations made by a woman. Then, we interviewed some people, asking questions about their trip and more things using the airport vocabulary we had learnt at school.
This is my airport project!

"DINOSAURE" BY ROC ALABERN (PUBLIC ART PROJECT 2012)
Hello guys! We are a group of three boys, Miquel, Jordi and Pol, from Terrassa, a city next to Barcelona.
We are Manel, and we love listening to the music of a group called “Manel”, that’s why we have chosen this name for our group. Miquel likes playing football and meeting friends. Pol loves playing basketball. Jordi likes playing basketball too and technology. We hope you like our echo about a sculpture in our hometown.
The echo text:
This rare and different sculpture by Roc Alabern is a contemporary sculpture that represents a dinosaur.
It was built in 1986 (nineteen, eighty six) . In this year, the sculpture was used for the “Festa Major” (a traditional festival of the city), and after this, the Dinosaur, was part of the company, Autotex. In 2007 (two thousand and seven), the sculpture was moved to a roundabout that is now in Madrid Avenue.
The materials that were used to create it, are clear, like you can see, the materials are cars, 24 in total. There is a yellow coat of paint on the cars, and some places are painted red and blue. These colors are primary.
The brightness depends on the weather. because it is outdoors.
It’s a very realIistic sculpture, because it’s made with a real shape and real measures. (16 meters long, 5 meters wide and 8 meters high).
With this sculpture, Roc Alabern wants to display the necessity of recycling, and he says that the world can be better if we recycle, therefore it has a social meaning as it gives a social message not only to the people in Terrassa, to all world.

MY FAVOURITE SONG ON YOUTUBE
I love this song because it is catchy and I love this kind of music , the singer, Aloe Blacc in general I like him, but when he does this song I was totally fascinated. Another reason why I like it is because the song is easy to remember, the song is about a man who was dismissed from work and he doesn't know what will become of his life, if someone can help he, and for this reason he says he need dollars.
DIALOGUE (Jordi Orihuela and Marc Cano)
This is a dialogue of one student who goes to Australia and meets her new host family.
The dialogue is:
MARC (Student): Hello, I'm Marc. I will spend a month in your house.
GEORGE (Family): Nice to meet you. I'm George the head of the family.
M: pleased to meet you too
G: I'd like you to meet my family. This is my wife Dora, and these are my two children James and Tamara.
M: Nice to meet you family! Nice to meet you Tamara.
G: Look at my daughter and I kill you.
M: Ah, I'm sorry.
G: Okay, I was joking. Come up to visit the house.
M: Great.
G: On the 3rd floor you can find the bathroom, Tamara's room and your small but beautiful room.
M: This is so good, Tamara next to me.
G: Go with me to the 2nd floor. Here is my room and James room and a little bath. Now, we go to the 1st floor, here we have the kitchen, the hall and a little room for the washing-machine,etc.
M: The house is beautiful, big and very comfortable.
G: Yes, Spend a good weeks!
M: Thanks!
DIALOGUE AT THE SUPERMARKET (Jordi and Marc)
This is a dialogue at a supermarket of two students of Torre del Palau. Marc Cano and Jordi Orihuela.
The dialogue is:
Costumer: Excuse me, can you help me?
Shop assistant: Don't you see i'm busy, ask somebody else.
Costumer: Ok, i'm sorry
C:Can you help me, because I asked him but he said “I'M BUSY”
Shop assistant 2: Who?
Costumer: The boy who is putting milk on the fridge.
S.A.2: Ok, wait a minute i'm going to talk to him. Ok, i'm sorry about his behaviour. He is new at the supermarket and he isn't used to costumers
C: Ok, no problem. I'm trying to find the cookies.
S.A.2: All that for cookies? They are next to you!
C: Ah yes, i'm sorry.
Customer: Hello, how are you today?
Cashier: Bad. (PI)
Customer: Why?
Cashier: It's none of your business. That'll be 5,85€
Customer: Okay, here you are. Bye!

MARTIN LUTHER KING
Martin Luther King was a clecir and a activist for the rights of blacks.
He was the most important person for got the blacks equals than whites.
Martin Luther King was born on 15th January 1929.
When he was a child he was educated in two ambients: religious and the rights of the blacks. At the 5 years he was expulsated of the school for reveal itself against the teacher.
When he was older, in 1948 he graduated in letters.
In 1964, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his civil rights and especially the blacks.
Four years later, on 4th April 1968, he was killed by a shot.
SPANISH AND CATALAN WRITERS
BALTASAR PORCEL:
Baltasar Porcel was a Catalan writer. He was born in Andratx in Mallorca on 14 March 1937. And he died in Barcelona on 1July 2009. He wrote novels, non fiction novels, interviews, portraits, travels, short narrative and plays. He died from a brain tumour which a doctor operated three years ago.
MIGUEL DE UNAMUNO:
Miguel de Unamuno was a Spanish writer. He was born in Bilbao on 29 September 1864 and he died in Salamanca on 31 December 1936. The most important novel that he wrote is “Vida de don Quijote y Sancho”. He was an important person from the Civil War.
DESCTIPTION OF A SUN BEAR
The sun bear is from Asia.
It usually lives in low valleys.
The sun bear is special because is the smallest bear in the world.
Adults can be one metre long.
They're usually black with orange markings.
Sun bears often eat insects.
They eat small mammals and fruit too.
Sun bears are endangered because people hunt it for its fur.

5.Spiders are smaller than dogs MY MOTHER'S JOB My mother is a teacher and she works at the institute TORRE DEL PALAU. She teaches in 1st and 2nd of baccalaureate. She makes them classes of theater, also she does classes in 3rd of ESO of cinema and in 2nd of ESO of theater. I think is a stressful job but if you like is a job very fun. If do you want to be a teacher you have that to have a lot of patience because not all the students are equals.
